Featuring 100 percent natural Talalay Latex layers, the EcoSleep combines the best nature has to offer with a uniquely responsive sleep surface that relaxes muscles and relieves tension—providing superior pressure point relief while you sleep. Natural latex is extracted from the rubber tree and processed using natural biodegradable ingredients that come from renewable sources. Our latex is FSC® Certified, recognized by the RainForest Alliance. This certification is designed to conserve ecosystems, protect biodiversity and waterways, conserve forests, reduce agrochemical use, and safeguard the well-being of workers and local communities.
EcoSleep is offered in a standard and luxe version, providing you with two eco-friendly sleep systems to choose from. Both EcoSleep mattresses are made of 100 percent organic cotton, 100 percent Natural Talalay Latex, and 100 percent natural Latex. The Luxe version sports a Eurotop Cover with a beautiful matelassé quilted finish and an additional layer of Organic Cashmere and wool.
Organic EcoPlush Wool has the unique ability to repel water liquid while absorbing water vapor—making it ideal for moisture-wicking in your mattress. The special crimping process of wool also delivers a 40 to 50 percent increase in volume without adding weight. This results in added plushness as well as longevity in your mattress.
Organic cotton is inherently soft, absorbent, and breathable. It’s specially grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. The eco-friendly production systems used to create the EcoSleep cover accomplish three things: first, they help replenish and maintain soil fertility; second, they reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers; and, third, they build biologically diverse agriculture.
In short, the culmination of these three materials in the EcoSleep— 100 percent organic cotton, 100 percent organic wool, and 100 percent natural Talalay Latex—delivers a healthier, more breathable, and more antimicrobial sleep experience.
As a hybrid mattress, the EcoSleep also pairs two important sleep systems—combining latex layers with the deep compression support of individually encased, recyclable coils. Because individually encased coils respond independently to the contours of the human body, they provide exceptional, targeted pressure point relief. That independent compression also decreases motion transfer between sleep partners—providing greater airflow for a cooler, more comfortable night’s sleep.
